How to test your scal tweaks and changes

As contributions roll in, I find I've been a bit lax in providing a decent way to test scal. This is true both from the development side of things as well as the user's (i.e. you) point of view. To that end, I've created a super stripped-down version of the home page that just includes the scal calendar along with the functions I've used to set up the "test" version.

I have a number of little functions I work with when I'm trying out new scal additions. Over time, I'll add them to the "suite", but for the moment at least there is a nice tester without my mugshot floating in the background.
